BrickWarp| WWII US Marine Crewman
BrickWarp| WWII US Marine Crewman
My latest WWII US Marine Crewman minifigure takes an up close look at an area somewhat overlooked. Typically vehicle crew are depicted with a tanker cap, and the occasional pistol belt. While not inaccurate, vehicle crewmen were often seen in the standard M1 helmet and would carry a variety of gear. Side by side, they'd often be indistinguishable from other soldiers on the ground.
Beyond just a crewman, this figure functions in a wide variety of settings to help you fill out your display. Given the M1 Carbine ammo pouch, this figure would also work for any kind of heavy weapons, support roles, or officers, all of which were armed with carbines.
From the artwork side, I've added some disheveled details, color matched "fleshy" light nougat chest printing, as well as corded dog tags that have been taped up.
